Waiting to go inside The Creation Museum

While we was waiting for all of our group to arrive, I took some pictures of the Brass models along with Eric. The eyes of some of them looked so real !!

The Creation Museum

On Sept 28th, 2007, a group of us went to Cinn/Ky to the Creation Museum. It hasn't been opened for very long but it is getting A LOT of people to come and visit. I had heard on a local Christian radio station that when you go you need to get there when they open and stay till they close. WOW was that ever true !!!! Even when you go all day, you still can't read every show case. When we got there, we was waiting for our other group of people to arrive, two Christian school buses arrived, one tour bus arrived and when we finally got to start our tour there was A LOT of people there !!!! You get to go through the whole museum at your own pace. But that is a little hard with so many waiting for you and your waiting on others.
You start out with seeing the 7 C's chart, which is Creation, Corruption, Catastophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, Consummation. In each of these C's they show you all through the Bible.
If it starts with THE WORD OF GOD, and how it came to man, how it was spread and the corruption of THE WORD OF GOD. IT shows how in the past it was corrupted and how today, it also shows life today and how sin has come so great from different lights to the way teens are today. Than you get to go into Creation to view how perfect it once was !!!! Than on the the serpant beguiling Eve and than the after effects of this happening, on to Catastrophe, which is God destorying the world with HIS flood and Noah building the ark and the after effects of the flood and "the proof" that it really happened. You go on to Confusion, this being the tower of Babal and the parting of ways of the many types of people today. Than shows Christ and the Cross and than what is to come: Consummation.
After you view all of this you get to sees DINO's and DRAGON's !!!!! WOW !!! was that exciting !!!!
IT IS WELL WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY TO GO AND SEE !!!!
Most everything is in glass cases so my pictures have the flash glare. ENJOY !!!!
We plan to go back again, for you can't read everything that there is to read. Alot of the fossils and bones are from Ohio and other places.

The Word of God and Mans Coruption of It

The Museum takes you first through how the Word of God was giving to man and than it's many ways it was corupted. It was a very good way how they displayed it.

The Lunar Eclipse on August 28, 2007

The total lunar eclipse on August 28, 2007 began at 4:51am (EST). I woke up at 4:30am to get ready for the big event. The sky was a clear bright night. The perfect night to watch the moon. This was going to be a Total eclipse ( where the moon is totally shadowed ) the earth was moving between the sun and the moon, this is what makes the moon shadowed. My first picture was at 4:58, the 2nd at 5:09, 3rd at 5:17, 4th at 5:27, 5th at 5:38, 6th at 5:45. The moon was totally eclipsed within an hours time. IT was TOTALLY a sight to wake for !!! When you watched the moon with your naked eye, it looked a little different than in the pictures. As the moon was shadowed, ( from top to bottom ) the top part got darker but you could still see the outline of the moon that was covered. It turned a slight reddish tint. The eclipse this time was to be shadowed an orange-red-brownish color due to no or little volcanic activity ( low dust particles ) on earth. The next total lunar eclipse will be Feb 21, 2008 so don't miss it because the following one after this one will be on Dec 21, 2010. It is worth getting up for or staying up for !!!!
When the moon was half shadowed I woke Eric and Crystal up to look out the window. They thought it was neat than they went back to sleep. I woke them back up when it was totally shadowed but only Eric got up to see it. Crystal was to sleepy to see.
The east was only going to be able to see the moon become totally eclipsed than the sun would come up. If you lived in the far west, you were blessed to watch the whole eclipse from start to finish. I wish I could have seen it all but at least I got to view what I did. I THANK God for that.
I thought some might want to view some of the pictures I took with our digital camera. ENJOY !!!!

The Rehearsal

Jonathan and Leigh Ann's rehearsal went really well. Everybody had a blast. Steve Watts made up a song just for the special couple and we played it for them. It was a very funny song !! That is why Jonathan and Leigh Ann are laughing. We all loved Steve's song. THANKS STEVE !!

Doesn't Leigh Ann look so darling in all those curlers !!! Most of us had curlers in our hair on Thursday. It was kind of embarrassing when one of us had to go somewhere out in public, but we survived it. It was well worth it !!!

Jonathan's Family

I just LOVE this picture of Jon, Eric and Crystal !!! This is going up on my living room wall. See the love shining on each of their faces. Brian and I are so blessed to have three children that love each other so much. THANK YOU, God !!!
